Tiger of Sweden

With the recent spate of events attended and that we plan on attending, It's only right that fishfinger look the part. Not that we weren't with it, it's just that sometimes shit needs to be refreshed. Gunning for that GQ, Best Dressed Blog Award that they'll create when they finally take notice of how fresh we are. In steps, the Swedish niche fashion label Tiger of Sweden.

Having opened their doors in Jhb early last year, Tiger, has set itself from the usual lineup we've become accustomed to in Joburg. Tiger of Sweden puts modern twists on classic pieces. From contemporary quarter-length coats, to updated business-appropriate suits, this European brand founded by Swedish tailors Markus Schwarmann and Hjalmar Nordström is creeping its way up the metropolitan trend scale. This certainly isn’t your father’s label; Tiger of Sweden clothing isn’t for every man. But if you have a penchant for classic clothing with a sleek twist, Tiger’s collection of business and casual wear will certainly meet your day-to-day needs. Ladies fret not because they cater to you too, though i got to be honest my eyes were firmly glued to what was on offer upstairs.

Just a word on the concept store in Melrose Arch, simple layout, womens collection at the bottom , mens range upstairs. Super friendly and helpful staff, who know their stuff, and go the extra yard to give good service. Keep a look out for the Swedish sizing, which differs to the sizing structure we're accustomed to, but like i said the staff in there are more than ready to help outfit you in the right size and cut. So no excuses masses get out there and look good, lets see grown folk dress like grown folk, and still look good. With over a hundred years in the game, let them sort you out.
