So the awards aired this morning for those of us setting our watches to Central African Time, 2am to be exact. now i was up watching, and am i a better person for havin watched the damn things? Only God knows. Shit made me miss my episode of Entourage. Colourful loud n filled with too many people reading from teleprompters, i think i'm getting too old to be following this pop culture.
Now we all know how this Giant machine known as Mtv works, the popular kids in the class all got their awards, the kings and queens of the prom were crowned and nothing out of the ordianry happend. Evryone was well behaved, even Kanye. Now from a fashion point of view people will be pickin apart their favourite artists wardrobe, their hair,best and worst lists will be formulated. You won't find that shit here.

The whole thing though made me realise that the Americans are on top of their game as far as production goes, everything just looked so slick, the stage, the changes in set, the change in theme, shit was way interactive, and i can only imagine the work put in to pull of something that huge so well, kudo's! Cna only hope our stuff starts lookin this good.
For me, best part was Knaye West, (did you have any fuckin doubt) performming with recent G.O.O.D Music signee, Pusha - T. A track called Runaway, the hook goes, "let's have a toast for the Douchebags, let's have a toast for the Assholes," now i don't like douchebags. Infact i call ppl I don't like douchebags, but when it's put across like this, fuck i'll even toast to them.
