Aaron Mokoena's double life...

I see no one learnt anything from Tiger Woods! Bafana Bafana skipper Aaron Mokoena has been busted by local media for his live in lover in the UK and mind you the man recently tied the knot to his high school sweatheart.

The whole country never took a liking to Mbazo as captain of the national soccer team and this just gives them more reason to hate on the man.

Bafana Bafana captain Aaron Mokoena, has for the past five years been living a double life.Apart from his new wife Jwalane, with whom he has a five-year old child, Mokoena lives with another woman in England.

Its been established that Mokoena has been living with a Ghanaian woman of Dutch descent, Adelaide Vanderpuye, with whom he also has a five-year-old child.

Why score once when you can score twice?

The man affectionately known as Mbazo because of his crunching tackles married his childhood sweetheart Jwalane on July 17 this year at the Riviera Hotel on the Vaal but, mysteriously, did not ask her to join him in Portsmouth, where he plays his club football.

Vanderpuye did not appreciate the fact that Mokoena married behind her back and has taken him to court.

Vanderpuye won a court battle this month that resulted in Mokoena’s assets in England being frozen. He is believed to earn approximately R1m a week at Portsmouth,  his house and other investments were among the assets frozen. Mokoena and Vanderpuye met while the Bafana defender was playing for Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam in 2003.

He is said to have been living with Vanderpuye when he played for Racing Genk in Belgium, before he headed to England to join Blackburn Rovers and eventually Portsmouth – or Pompey, as the team is known.

A journalist attached to a Portsmouth newspaper says he uses the same gym, 24/7, as Mokoena’s live-in lover. He says he knew they were lovers, but didn’t know about Mbazo’s marriage.

We've got something in common

Mokoena apparently brought Vanderpuye and their child to South Africa for a traditional ceremony last year.
He wanted to introduce them to his family and his ancestors, after which he apparently performed traditional rituals for them.Mokoena’s new wife is not bothered about her husband’s shenanigans.

She says it doesn’t matter what her hubby does as long as she is being taken care of. “It is his problem if he chooses to live a double life,” says Jwalane.“I have known about the relationship since 2003 and that they have a child together." Even when Aaron went to Belgium before England, that woman followed him.

“I know about her and she knows about me, but I thought things would change after we got married. I do visit Aaron in England when it is necessary, but I am happy with my life.”Asked if she knew that Vanderpuye and his kid visited Mokoena’s family last year, Jwalane says: “Yes it is true that the three of them came to the country to perform some rituals. I wasn’t happy, but there was nothing I could do about it.”

Bitten off  more than you can chew?

The worst thing is that his South African wife isn’t even disturbed by his behaviour she’s just happy cause the cheques keep coming in, any event what the hell did she expect from him considering that he’s been overseas for the longest of time and as we all know a man must eat but perhaps he's bitten off more than he can chew.

I figure this is the track playing on Mbazo’s iPod.
